Lukonga Lindunda

Anthony Gacanja is the Director of Information Technology at Central Bank of Kenya, actively involved in ensuring that the efficiency and effectiveness of the Bank’s operations are enhanced through the strategic use of IT.
His experience spans IT Consultancy, Enterprise Risk Management, Information Systems Assurance (Risk & Security), and Information Systems Audit. Anthony holds a B.Sc. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (majoring in Telecommunications).
He has been a lead trainer for Penetration Testing training programmes in Eastern Africa, and has led workshops on System Design & Assurance for senior management for major clients. More recently he has program managed the delivery of business insights through data analytics and visualization.
Before joining Central Bank of Kenya, Anthony worked as a Head of Department (various roles) at Safaricom, as a Manager (Technology Security & Risk Services) in Ernst & Young and also as systems/software developer in Software Technologies Limited, involved in designing, implementing & supporting various Oracle® application software & web development projects.
Anthony is a trained and certified coach, having graduated at the top of his class at the Coach Development Institute of Kenya (CDI Kenya).
